Cologne, September 23, 2020. sporttotal, one of Germany’s larg-est multi-sport streaming platforms and wholly owned subsidiary of SPORTTOTAL AG, and the Czech Football Association are to develop a licensing-model OTT-platform solution to stream and display Czech football content from professional to grassroots level. In the context of the collaboration, sporttotal and FACR will partner up to co-develop the OTT platform FACR.TV. For sporttotal, this partnership represents a substantial expansion of its business service portfolio for the international market.
As from the start of October 2020, sporttotal and the FACR will closely work together to ensure the best possible commercial and technical arrangements for the planned new Czech streaming platformlicensing. Several experts from sporttotal will exchange technological know-how and their experience with FACR in the months ahead and determine a ready-to-market roadmap.
