Cologne / Berlin, April 30, 2020. sporttotal.tv gmbh, one of Germany’s largest multi-sports streaming platforms and a wholly-owned subsidiary of SPORTTOTAL AG, and football media platform Onefootball have signed a cooperation agreement for the global distribution of amateur football content. Starting from the 2020/21 season, the entire sporttotal live offering of selected regional leagues will be available on a free-to-air basis in the high-reach Onefootball app.

The distribution partnership with sporttotal is part of Onefootball’s vision to create an integrated user experience. Peter Lauterbach, CEO of SPORTTOTAL AG: “Onefootball’s outstanding market position, both domestic and international, will enable sporttotal to create additional coverage for amateur football in the context of this cooperation. The new partnership between sporttotal and Onefootball promises huge synergies.”

Lucas von Cranach, CEO and founder of Onefootball: “The regional league is steeped in the tradition of German clubs and is very popular on our platform. We have around 250,000 app users all over the world who are interested in the regional league.
